Respuesta ante la COVID-19

Harris Health is confident and prepared in our response to COVID-19. Like many other health systems across the country and in our area, we are focused on maintaining adequate levels of essential personal protection equipment (PPE) and supplies for our frontline staff. For those wishing to donate, please consider:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety is job one. Help keep our staff and patients safe with a donation of N95 masks, gloves, shoe covers, bouffant covers, alcohol wipes / swabs, isolation gowns, etc.
  • Apple iPads: New or used. If you donate a used iPad we will need your passcode so we can swipe and refurbish the item. These will be used to communicate with patients in isolation.
  • Webcams: When communicating with patients in isolation rooms, physicians and nursing staff use webcams to ensure the patient’s needs are met while maintaining safety for staff and others.
  • Sponsor Restaurant Food Deliveries for Clinical Staff: Help lift the spirits of our front-line staff with the comfort of a warm meal.
  • Survival Kits for Clinical Staff: Help relieve some stress by providing care kits for our frontline staff. Kits can contain lotion, lip balm, candy, etc. Please see guidelines and instructions.
  • DIY Surgical Masks: Hand-sewn masks must be 100% cotton only with latex-free elastic loops. Please see guidelines and instructions.
