​Vision
Harris Health's Contractor Diversity Program was created as a bridge to connect businesses to access within Harris Health. We are committed to contractor diversity and are working with businesses and community partners willing to invest in M/WBEs who are motivated by growth, collaboration and ensuring Harris Health remains a premier public healthcare system in the nation. 

Every success story starts with a vision. Harris Health strives to create an ending to stories that results in substantial awards, meaningful opportunities, increased diversity and the inclusion of businesses that historically have been excluded from these opportunities.

Aim
Our aim is to demonstrate success in the growth of M/WBEs in doing business with Harris Health by addressing marketplace barriers through education, collaboration and innovation. 

Contractor Diversity Programs Components
  • Utilization: We integrate strategies to include competitive sourcing opportunities.
  • ComplianceWe ensure program participants make a Good Faith Efforts partnering with M/WBEs.
  • OutreachWe seek out diverse firms through active involvement in small business and minority development organizations and trade shows.
  • Training and EducationWe provide resources to help all vendors work efficiently with Harris Health.
  • TrackingWe emphasize continuous improvement. As we achieve our program targets, we monitor and report on our progress.
